LITTLE WEIGHTON SURGERY
(for an appointment ring 01430 422206)

Wednesday and Friday 1.00 - 2.00pm

Extended Opening Hours

For patients who struggle to attend during our core daytime hours we are able to offer a booked appointment during the following surgery times:

Saturdays     -   9.00am - 12 noon   At Brough Surgery
Mondays     -   6.30 - 8.15pm   At Brough Surgery
Thursday     -   6.30 - 8.00pm   At South Cave Surgery

The extended surgeries are book-in-advance appointments only with whichever GP is on duty that day. We aren’t able to see patients on a walk-in basis and all emergencies will be directed to the Out-Of-Hours Emergency Service. During these hours patients will also be able to pick up repeat prescriptions and dispensed medication if you are one of our dispensing patients.

Out-Of-Hours Emergency Cover
(6.00pm - 8.00am, weekends and bank holidays)

The provision of patient care out of hours is the responsibility of East Yorkshire Primary Care Trust.

If you require general medical advice please telephone the NHS Direct Helpline on 0845 46 47 or visit their website www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk.

If you need urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed, please telephone the enquiries/emergency telephone number (see home page). Your call will automatically be diverted to the TENYAS call centre. Details will be requested from you and appropriate medical care arranged. You may be asked to attend the local Primary Care Centre which is situated on Westbourne Avenue, Hull. Alternatively, you can dial 999 for an ambulance if you think this would be appropriate.

Accident And Emergency Departments

There are A&E facilities at both the following:

Hull Royal Infirmary, Anlaby Road, Hull
Goole and District Hospital, Woodland Avenue, Goole
(X-ray facility only available between 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday)

Access For The Disabled

There is disabled access through the main entrance doors and disabled toilet facilities at both main surgeries.
